Last week some of our team had the privilege of attending a brilliant Professional Development Day with Professor Katrina Skewes McFerran, diving deep into Song Choices and Receptive Music Therapy.

We were then absolutely honoured to welcome Kat to our clinic on a buzzing Saturday! he joined us for a performance by our Saturday Musical Stars and generously shared her expertise to help us reflect on and refine our music therapy evaluation processes.

At Sound Expression, we’re always striving for excellence through continuous learning, and it was such a gift to have Kat support us on that journey.

For those who don’t know, Kat is a Professor of Music Therapy and Head of the Creative Arts and Music Therapy Research Unit at the University of Melbourne — a true international leader in our field, and we’re so grateful for her wisdom and time.
