AMTA Registered Music Therapist, Master of Music Therapy, B. Mus (performance)
Lucy Morgan is a Registered Music Therapist with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA). She holds a Master’s degree in Music Therapy, a Bachelor’s degree in Music, and an Advanced Diploma in Live Music Performance. Lucy has experience across a wide range of settings, including early intervention, inclusive education settings, residential care homes, hospitals, in-home support, day care centres, community-based services, and both individual and group therapy programs.
Lucy specialises in working with adults living with psychosocial disabilities, and her work has a high focus on empowering individuals to discover their strengths, reducing social isolation by increasing opportunities for social participation and meaningful connection – supporting individuals with limited access to community and support networks.
Lucy works from a collaborative, humanistic and ecological orientation, offering a warm, patient and person-centred approach. She is passionate about neurodiversity, individuality, and equal access to self-expression and a sense of belonging. Using creative, responsive and strengths-based methods, Lucy tailors her music therapy programs to meet each person’s unique needs and goals. Her aim is to support participants to engage in their progress, foster self-confidence, build healthy relationships, and create sustainable outcomes that extend beyond the therapy space.
