LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEER MUSICIANS to assist in mentoring children and adults with disability
Passionate about helping your community through your music? We are seeking local volunteer musicians who can assist us in building an inclusive musical community for the children and adults with disability who attend music therapy and music lessons at our clinic in North Ryde.
Are you a musician who is:
– empathetic, patient and understanding of some of the challenges faced by people with disability, particularly children with autism?
– able to commit a number of your Saturday afternoons?
– passionate about using your musical ability to connect people of all abilities?
We are a team of Registered Music Therapists at Sound Expression who work with children and adults with disability. We want to increase social and community participation opportunities for our clients through music by creating a local inclusive music group where participants can socialise and play music together with local community musicians.
If this sounds like you, please contact Iani Sujono at Sound Expression on 0416 288 917 or email iani@soundexpression.com.au
This project is an initiative of Sound Expression in partnership with Ability Links NSW and Uniting. To find out more about what we do please visit www.soundexpression.com.au or Youtube or Facebook.
