Yesterday Tahlee shared her passion for music with her local community —and absolutely rocked it! She’s been working hard to build confidence, commit to a set list (not an easy task—well done, Tahlee!), and take her music beyond the therapy space.

With support from her music therapist, Pete McDonald, the two have been collaborating during individual sessions to prepare for moments like this—where goals are being met and music becomes part of everyday life.

NDIS Goal: Connect with her community & explore her musical aspirations
Music Therapy Goal: Play and share music in daily life with others
Outcome: A heartwarming gig in a public space, filled with joy, courage, and community!

This is what it looks like when goals are being met and passions are shared through music therapy.

Huge thanks to City of Ryde Libraries for opening their space and supporting inclusive music-making.
