Many thanks to Rocky Biasi from Human Connections for his incredible Professional Development Workshop for our team called ‘The Accidental Counsellor’.
Working in a helping profession like ours, we are often faced with scenarios where we need to respond appropriately when clients and families open up to us about a range of difficulties and stressors (such as mental health challenges). This workshop was a 90 minute overview of the Accidental Counsellor course that our team will all be undertaking over the next 12 months. We are all eagerly looking forward to learning more about this excellent approach to assist the individuals and families at Sound Expression.
